L'Esagono is a unique restaurant: a privileged location, intimate atmosphere, excellent seafood cuisine and attentive hospitality.

Founded in 1969 and located inside Hotel L'Esagono, it enjoys a privileged position on Cala d'Ambra beach, with views of the island of Tavolara and the Gulf of Puntaldia.

The décor is elegant and inspired by the colours of the sea. The main dining room is spacious and bright, with an intimate, relaxing atmosphere.

History

A passionate restaurateur for over 50 years

It all began in 1969, when Mario Azara — still the owner today — from a simple blacksmith with a deep family passion for hospitality, created the two “little hexagons”: a bar and a restaurant.

«For the opening, in 1969, I had bought the chairs from the Ortobene restaurant. I repainted them myself… But it was a wonderful celebration!»

In a San Teodoro very different from today's, with his family's support he never gave up. In 1974 he expanded the building with six rooms: the historic core of today's hotel.
